Finding parked car using GPS

Goal or Problem

You are on vacations in a foreign country. You arrive to the city you want to explore using a GPS. After some time you find a place to park the car. Then you go to walk around the city. How to find the place where the car has been parked?

Idea

After parking the car, set the address of the parking place in the GPS as the next destination. Then walk around the city. When you decide to go back to the car, let the GPS to navigate you to the parking place. This works the best when the GPS can plan walking routes.
